Why doesn't my replacement Note 7 charge?

Just exchanged my note7 for new one yesterday and when I plug the new phone into the charger it starts to reduce the battery level??

By that I mean I started out at 70% this morning and after charging for 1hr it is down to 44%.

Anybody else experience this?

I guess this will mean another trip to the verizon store,hope those store employees do not start to hate me.

I just got back from verizon store,it was a bad cable and they replaced it.

I must say that the people at the Verizon store are very nice,and helpfull.
