I have a Samsung Galaxy 6. I keep getting a Wi-fi authentication error when I try to turn on Wi-fi.
network settings and re-entered my Wi-fi password, but that did not help.
What can I do? I really don't want to reset the entire phone.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, novacsi. I understand not wanting to reset your device that can be inconvenient, does your device have issues connecting to any other Wi-Fi connection?

I know how much I rely on my phone. Let's get your Wifi connected. Can you connect to other Wifi networks? Can other devices connect to your home Wifi? Did you recently change your home Wifi Password?

Do you have the Verizon security app running? I know there was a problem after an update that it was trying to block phones from connecting to even home wifi.
