my screen cracked. still working but its not detecting touch. it restarted and its having me put in my password. but since it cant detect touch, its not working, any tips?
Have the screen repaired.
no insurance for cracks. time to pay for the repair or get a new phone.
I'm sorry to see that your screen is cracked. I know how inconvenient that can be as I just cracked my screen as well and it broke my heart. Please tell me more, what is the make and model of your phone? Do you know if you have our protection plan so that we can get the phone replaced?

Piscestg, I know that I've experienced cracked screens in the past, so I can see why you are inquiring about screen repair tips. I am eager to help. With the phone being impacted by physical damage, your device does not qualify for a warranty replacement. If you feel that the device will regain the detection of touch by repairing the screen, then you can see if you qualify for the screen repair program for just only $29. There is no troubleshooting involved if the issue can be deemed it was caused by physical damage.
Please note that you will have to see if you have an insurance package on your line. Here is the link to check: http://spr.ly/6601EwP5f (Under the "What's My Deductible? Am I Eligible for Screen Repair?" section)
You may have to pay the deductible for a replacement device if the screen repair does seem to fix the issue. You can figure out the exact price using the same link. Did this provide clarity? If you are unsure about what path to take, then please provide us with a video or picture of the damage on your screen.
