How do I delete all emails at once?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
I can totally relate to wanting to make sure you can delete all emails at once. You're correct, BOGEYBUNKY1. There is not a way to select all emails from the GMail account to delete them.
I also have the S7, but that option is not available directly from the device.

within email tap either the dots or dashes in one of the upper corners, edit, delete, select all.
How you do it depends on which email app you're using.
I am using Gmail, but do not see dots or dashes. There are three vertical dots in the upper right, but none of the options you listed are there
Open your gmail Inbox. Long-press an e-mail that you want to delete; when you see a checkmark on the left-hand side, let go. Once you've marked all the e-mails that you want to delete, tap the trash can at the top of the screen.
Thanks, but I want to be able to select all at once. With hundreds of emails it takes too long to select one at a time.
What about accessing your Gmail from a website on a computer?

Thanks for the suggestion Ann. I could do that, but I like to keep the emails on my computer. It is only on my phone that I want to get rid of them. Maybe its just not possible.
If you delete the emails from the Gmail application on your phone, they will be deleted from the server that you can also view from the Gmail website. If you want to be retained on the server, I would suggest you archive them.
