media audio coming through phone speaker after bluetooth

ok so clearly the 4.4.4 update didn't fixed my most annoying issue  which is after using bluetooth for calls, all media audio will go through the phone speaker (ear) instead of the media speaker (bottom). This will happen until I reboot my phone. Is there simpler way to fix this? i.e when I go to play music it plays through phone speaker and hitting the volume rocker pulls up the call volume not speaker phone volume.

The same happened to me.  If I would stream music from my phone to my bluetooth in my SUV, if I received a text message, than the audio would come through the phone.  I downloaded BLE Crash Resolver and it hasn't happened since I installed that app
