ppl say im calling them when i have made any phone calls

my phone is ringing every 5 mins,ppl saying i called them and theres no one on there line.well i havent called anyone so i guess ive been hacked how do i fix this?

I know this can be scary, Mapletop. I can assure you that your phone has not been hacked. I do want to clarify a few things. Is your phone able to make and receive calls? You may be experiencing what is called Spoofing. You can learn more here: https://www.verizon.com/articles/caller-id-spoofing/
