Camera app busted,

WIFI sketchy,

Calls dropped,

Bluetooth sketchy

Battery dying fast,,,,

and all this happened because of nougat.  So far Verizon support wants me to send it in and get it fixed...  Sure 2 weeks without a phone. NOT. I hate apple but but guess whos gonna buy one.

Your experience is exactly why I still haven't installed Nougat.  I'm very surprised VZW didn't tell you to do an FDR.  That's their standard solution to everything.

Have you done the Volume up-Power-Home to get to the recovery mode? Clear the cache partition then restart the phone and see if that helped. If it didn't then I would do a backup to smart switch or kies and then do the factory reset. I mean at this point where the only help you can get is to send back your phone and wait 2 weeks. I would try this as a last resort and there have been a lot of people that have stated on here that the factory reset did help.If you have done all this then sorry for bring it up again cause as jrh4054 as said it does sound like that is the standard solution.

Are you getting a lot of notices to update your? It has really been a long time since these phones went to Nougat. I would have thought by now that the notice from the phone would have driven you crazy by now. I thought a while back that you were trying to update your phone and was having problems doing it.

The daily notices stopped some time ago.  I think I mentioned this and also that I can't do it using the System updates setting.  I get a message saying the update is temporarily unavailable.  The first Nougat update was broadcast in August 2016.  I tried using he SUA once, but the update didn't finish and the phone locked up.  Someone else had a very similar issue with the update stopping at 66%.  The phone is working well now.  I may not ever do the update.  I'm due for a phone update in the spring.
