my phone just shut off and now keeps stating that the start up has failed and to connect to this site to repair my device??

If so, that device was recalled so we no longer support it on our end. You would have to contact Samsung directly for additional assistance.

I hope that’s a mistake.  The note 7 is blocked and recalled.  Time to upgrade/replace
