2 days ago about 300 names unknown to me showed up on my contact list. I deleted them but they came back, I just spent over an hour in a "chat" with Samsung and they first said they fixed it, (they didn't) and then said that the only way to fix it would be to delete my live.com email account, which is linked to that account on my computer. Samsung said that was where the names were coming from (I don't even see any of those names under my junk mail on the computer) but that the email has to be sync'd with my cell phone so I would have to delete my live.com account from the phone. I've had this phone for several months and this just now happened. I know I must have done something on the settings but can't figure out what and Samsung was no help at all. Any ideas? Thanks for any input you can give me.
Sounds like you turned on "Sync contacts with gmail" so anyone that has ever emailed you, or you replied to, is not in your contacts.
