I recently received a message that backup assistant had an important new version. So I removed the old vesion (the instructions on the phone were completely wrong! but that's another subject). I downloaded and reinstalled. The first thing that happened is a message that there was a new version! What is this - a plan to increase usage (mb)?
I have a LG VX 8550.

You can find it in in options, then about
When you get a message for a new version, you just upgrade it. No need to uninstall or reinstall.
Current version on my phone is 1.5.0.3616
When you have BA highlights, click on info/more info. Select option 4 for upgrade check. This will run the upgrade to the new version.
♠I should have mentioned the version in the 1st message, sorry. It is 1.51819.
Update check says "nothing found"
