Received the following today on my phone from a number that doesn't reverse search to anything Verizon. Also, the poor English grammar raises a flag Is this legit or not?
"Hello, this is Dan from the Verizon Wireless Network team. We understand you are interested in us sending out a network extender to you that can help with indoor coverage. This device is free of charge, no cost to your plan. Before we send it out just need to confirm the following. 1. If you have high speed internet access at the location for the extender to plug into to work? 2. What address you would like us to send the extender to? Thanks!"

Turns out it was legit. Might want to consider the approach of sending SMS messages from unidentifiable numbers and perhaps send messages through the app. Thanks for the assistance.

Recently, I moved to a location where the network coverage is really bad. Wonder when will Verizon going to call me with this free network extender offer!

I wouldn't think they know you are having issues unless you make them aware of it. 800-922-0204

Hi there! We would not call you. I am sorry for any confusion on how this works. I would be happy to see if the offer is in your account. You can also see your offers from the My Offer section in your online account.

Or can you send a Private Message from here? I am not able to send one to you, and would need to be chatting with you on a Private platform to send the links to access the account. We do want to help!

Dan, I am getting limited signals from wifi in my house with my Samsung Galaxie S22+. I visited our local Verizon store in my area and was told I needed to get a Network Extender from Verizon. I have wifi coverage with Charter (Spectrum) in my home.
Please let me know is you need additional information. Thank you.

WiFi or cellular signal? A network extender will not help your WiFi signal as it provides a local/personal cell tower cell signal and connect to the Verizon cellular network using your broadband internet connection and does not use WiFi whatsoever. What is providing your WiFi signal?
You shouldn't post personal information on this public forum.

I have poor reception with my Galaxie S22+ in my home. My wifi carrier is Charter (Spectrum). Our local Verizon store technician advised to ask for a network extender.
Please advise if you need further information. Thank you, Kathy

We defintiely want to make sure you're able to rely on your device while you're at home, Poskinlake_1523. I know it's where I use my device the most. While we can take a look to see if you qualify for a Network Extender, Wi-Fi calling is available on your device, and does the same job without the extra equipment. Here's how to enable Wi-Fi calling on your Galaxy S22+: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-300915/
Let me know if this helps.
