Would like to find a way to get a hard copy of a text message on my conversation without getting a court order?

Are the texts still on your phone? If so, you may be able to use Verizon Messages to back up the messages and then print them, or use a text backup app that also provides a printing option.

Thank you for reaching out to us, that_guy115. We understand the importance of knowing available options for reviewing messages. When text messages are erased from a phone, they are no longer recoverable on the phone. Online we do store the information regarding time, date, and numbers that were texted and texted from. If you want to read the actual message we do retain those in our system for a limited time. It does require a subpoena in order to have them printed. Please let us know if you want to go this route and we would be happy to provide you the next steps.
