Getting an error while trying to post to forum

Some kind of server error. What is up with this site?

Ok this finally worked.  I was getting some HTTP Status 500-  Error.  

I was originally posting because my DVR taped 2 shows of same episode and i had that show set to Record First Run Only.  I will monitor this.

When I try to post a message I get this error: 

"HTTP Status 500 -
type Status report

message

description The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

Apache Tomcat/7.0.69"  

(now able to post but the first few times the system did not redirect me to sign up with a dedicated username for the forum but only returned the error)

This needs to be fixed. This keeps happening. I am trying to post about an issue, and then the post doesnt even take. Why does this happen?  I get an error message sometimes. This is about 50 -60% of the time.
