Reclaiming an existing userid

I was previously registered with userid and screen name britechguy.  I was not able to log in to that account and when I tried a "recover password" process I was told that I needed to activate the account, but obviously since I have posted multiple times with that account it had to have been activated way back when.  Is there any way for me to regain access?
