Does anybody know if upcoming 2011 Cricket World Cup will be shown on any of the channels on Verizon? This wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2011_Cricket_World_Cup_broadcasting_rights says the broadcasting rights are sold to ESPN Star Sports, I wonder if it is available in US and via Verizon. If not any other options to see it ? 😉

Verizon can make this happen with DirecTV or directly with Willow TV.
Not everyone can have Dish Antennas hang around their houses.

Looks like the only carriers in the US will be Direct TV and Dish Network.
You could watch it on-line via www.willow.tv but it looks like a subscription to that will run about $130

these are not exclusive rights - Verizon can get rights just like DirecTV, Dish TV and Willow TV have rights for coverage in US

Here is a good option
you can watch Willow TV on following devices - Google TV, PS3, Roku, Boxee, & soon on Wii, XBox and Samsung internet@tv (soon)
http://www.willow.tv/EventMgmt/UserMgmt/WillowFeatures.asp#googletvSection
The only disadvantage - DirecTV and DishTV will show it in HD, Willow TV is Internet TV - whatever best resolution you get ...
