Hi all,
I was previously using Alexa with great success to change channels on my fios tv. Ever since adding a google router Alexa will announce the channel change, but not actually change the channel. Does anyone know how to fix this? I currently have the Verizon Gigabit internet coming into my google router, which is connected to a Verizon quantum router through a LAN connection. Thank you in advance for your help.
Most probably it is because Alexa and stbs are not on the same subnet.
Modify quantum router to be an access point.
Same issue. All connected devices are on the same subnet. Has to be something else.
I only use one router.. the quantum router. So in my case, it has to be something else.
Error after trying to change channel with Alexa: "Sorry, FIOS is having trouble."
