Hi. I'm new to FIOS TV, just installed yesterday, and learning to do things is a bit overwhelming.
I have a bunch of channels that are both regular and high definition. For example, CNN and FoxNews. I would like to remove all the non high def channels and keep the High def. Is there an option to remove non High Def duplicate channels from the guide in one go? DTV had an option to not show non HD duplicates.
Also, the foreign language channels and PEGC, too. I would like to remove them.
With over 400 channels, it will be a lot easier to just remove the 50 or so that I don't want to show on my guide as opposed to making a list that calls for me to add 350+. How do I remove the channels I don't want to see in my guide.
Thanks.
I really wish I had an answer, also I really wish that one of the 725 people that have viewed this had an answer as well. There has got to be a way to get rid of these worthless channels from the guide.
Have you tried this ?
Menu>>System>>TV>>Auto Tune to HD Channels>>ON (Save)
At least it solves some of what you asked about.
When I click remote on 4 (NBC in NY area) it goes to 504 the HD version of NBC.
