I currently have 3 TV's in the house with a dvr box and two set top boxes. There is a 3-way splitter in the basement that I assume feeds the three boxes currently running. I want to add a TV in the basement. Can I change the 3 way splitter to a 4? Or will that degrade my signal too much. Seems my options are switching to a 4way and maybe adding a signal booster?? Or splitting the line to the other basement TV after the 3way split? Or should I run a new cable from the outside box? I would like to run the coaxial cable myself and then just pick up another box for the account.
