Additional Guide Options

I am a new Fios subscriber and I am not thrilled with the Fios Quantum TV guide and all the different guide viewing options.

Here is one guide I hate:

Here is one update I would love to see happen in the near future:

This is a rather crude photoshop but as you can see, I was able to add 3 additional channels to this "Half Screen Guide" view and its much easier on the eyes. And a user could still have the option to hit the info button on the remote to show the expanded info view of the selected channel for all those who still like the 1st view above.

Thoughts? Seems like this could be another option in the Preferred Guide within the menu...

I realize this post is a couple years old, this what I have been looking for also. Has Verizon offered this option yet. The info in the grid is annoying to me while scrolling.
