An Old Box for a New Box - Saved Records and Shows

I am about to exchange an outdated cable box for a new one.  Will I still have access to my recorded shows and movies and my schedules to record, will they still be there?

When you replace a DVR, you lose all content on it.

Prior to swap, you can export the schedules and then download them to your new box.
