Arris Set Top Box

I have Arris Set Top Boxes.  Today I noticed one of the boxes has an icon lit up on the front panel that looks like two half arrows atop one another.  One points to the right and the other points to the left.  I simply cannot find an explanation for this light.  Also, why it is lit on one box and not the others.  Not at home now but I believe it was flashing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The four icons around the "clock"  and going clockwise starting upper right are Message, Recording, Software Update, and Home Network.
