Why isn't BBC available on the low tier? Come on Verizon quit being $$$ hungry. I used to watch it all the time on your competitors low tier. We aren't all made of money.
I like BBC also. But Verizon isn't alone in putting them on higher tiers. My cable provider didn't the same thing.
Regardless of the provider, most viewers will need more than the basic package to get all the channels they want. The unfortunate reality is that we have to choose between spending more money than we want to spend and not getting all the channels we want.
Well interestingly enough the lower teir has it here but the next one up that costs more doesn't!

Yeh, Verizon, give us ALL channels for FREE! Quite being $$$ hungry.
Just kidding.
BBC was part of my basic package. When I moved, I "upgraded" to the custom package, not even considering that a higher priced package would cost me one of my favorite channels. I was told by customer service that I would need to add about $25 a month to upgrade just to get the BBC.
I will just wait and buy the DVDs: it will be cheaper. I may just cut cable completely at this point.
