It is a disgrace that CBS Sports Network is still only available in STANDARD DEF to FIOS TV subscribers!
WHAT IS BEING DONE TO BRING US THIS CHANNEL IN HD??

I agree and would like to bump this topic. All the service academy home football games are broadcast on CBS Sports network. I actually originally chose Cox just to get this channel in HD, but their old cable infrastructure in my neighborhood had too many issues so I had to switch to FiOS. I asked about this channel to everyone I delt with during the installation process, but everyone basically just said "well, we're constantly adding new channels, I'm sure we're working on getting that one." (in other words, they blew smoke up my a%$).
I would like an offical answer as to whether or not there is any plan to get this channel as it's one of the few I would like in HD. I'm sure there are plenty of other people who want it as well. If there is no plan, I would rather someone just be straight with me and tell me there is no plan to add this channel to the FiOS lineup at this time.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, but I would not hold my breath waiting for Verizon to add this or any other new HD channels. They have not added any new English language content now for well over a year now (and the 2 pay baseball channels do NOT count) and it is very obvious adding new English language HD content is not a priority (yes they did blow smoke where you said, they've been doing that to all of us now for a while).

Really? Are you saying the channel just got added or they are planning on adding it in NY?
Or are you just requesting they add it up in NY?

BUMP...
Completely ridiculous that the USC vs Hawaii game on Thursday night is only going to be available on SD channels. You know who doesn't have this problem?? DIRECTV!!!
Have the same problem with SNY, FIOS only carries the SD channel. I'm not paying for the MLB package next year because of this. I hope other people do the same thing.

Correction:
SNY is in HD. I'm watching it right now. Try pushing the "c" button to switch to HD.
CBS SN is an extra $10 with my current package so I can do without the lame SD college football games on that channel.
