Cable Card & Se Top Box

I just got a Tivo and want to get a cable card and give back my (3) set top boxes. The reps keep telling me I need to keep at least 1 set top box for this to work, since I have the Ultimate package.  Can someone confirm this? I read that you don't need the set top box, but the rep said you do if you have a channel package. I couldn't find anything on this particular subject in the forums. Thanks!

You don't need stb with cable card.

Try ordering cablecsrd. Once you get it, then return stbs
