Cable Issues Not Being Communicated

Will someone tell the suits to push out a known outage issue before having every customer wait 70 minutes for a call back to be told by a customer support contact. 

Verizon doesn't have a clue as to how to communicate issues to their customer base.  If you worked for me yeaterday, you would be out of a job today.
