Cable box going on and off constantly since 1.7 received

It comes on, displays channel number, then clicks off, and resets, does it over and over

Driving me crazy.

The day before I had a message saying I was getting a new version of the cablebox software with enhanced features.

Anyone else have this?

Not familiar with "1.7" but I have had the same problem for the last few weeks.

Day and night constantly rebooting andf the clicking of the relay is a pain.

It does this when the TV is turned off but seems to be OK when the TV is turned on.
