Can I return all my set-top boxes without affecting triple play?

I have 2 HD boxes that we have rarely, if ever, turn on. We are exclusively a Fire TV household. So I was wondering if would simply return both boxes and still keep our triple-play so that we can continue to use our login on the channel apps on the Fire TV.

I do think you have to have at least one piece of equipment on your order unless you get Local TV. 

One thing you can do is return the HD boxes and order one Digital adapter or one cable card. Both are under $10 with the cable card being the cheapest. This way you channel subscriptions will stay in place and the fee will be less than $10 versus $24 for two HD boxes.
