Can I use flat cable wire?

I am moving my TV from one wall to the opposite---and I need to run the cable wire under an area rug.  Amazon has flat cable wire.......How do I know it will work?

I would be suspect it may have issues.

Part of the way a coaxial cable works is because it is round.
