SInce the guide update (1.9) I no longer see any recorded shows or have access to my DVR online. Works perfect otherwise. Any advice on where to go. Already re-booted the box
Thanks in advance
Have you gone into the STB and confirmed that Remote DVR functionailiy is still enabled? Maybe with the upgrade it got turned off.
Hello - thanks for the response.
Remote DVR functionality is enabled. Shows mny user ID etc. Any other places I can look?
So when you go to my.verizon.com and log on
select FIOS TV and then Settings.
Do you see all of your STB's listed?
If you do does it show:
REMOTE DVR STATUS: Enabled
Hello,
I see all but it can't connect to the DVR. It says: Remote DVR Status Enabled. But it also says Set-Top box is not responding
Have you tried to reboot your router and set top box?
Yes but I will try both again tonight. Will feedback. Thank you
Still no luck with a reboot of both the DVR & router
Give your set top box a static IP address.
Log on to your router (typically http://192.168.1.1)
Go to Advanced
DHCP Settings
Edit your DVR
Select 'Static lease' (gives the box a static IP address)
Save
Exit
Seemed to work for me. It's been written about a fair bit.
Did you get this resolved? i have the same issue with the Remote DVR functions?
by any chance did you change the default IP of the fios router
