Hi guys,
Just returned Fios 3100 router and bought a ScreenBeam (Previously Actiontec) Bonded MoCA 2.0 Network Adapter True 2.0 Gbps Ethernet Port for Ethernet Over Coax
Also have a Netgear Nighthawk r6400 router.
Inside the home I can watch TV channels on my devices and schedule a recording
At a remote location I can only watch TV channels but CANNOT schedule a tv recording whether on a wi fi or 4g or 5g.
Do I need to bring back that $15 Fios 3100 or might there be a fix?
Thanks
Jeff

Was it possible to accomplish the tasks when the 3100 was connected? š¤

Yes it was but my netgear needed to be first in line from ONT to play nicely with port forwarding
G3100 made it clear it was the main player and would play second to nobody
If I have to ill live with home use with app and limit myself to watch only remotely.
At least ill save $15 a month
Wish there was a work around if I knew what I was working around that is !
