Cartoon network on both channel 257 and 1726

I have been looking at FIOS channel linups and see that the cartoon network is on two channels. Is that because one is east coast feed and the other is west coast feed,similar to Directv, or is one actually HD.  I have seen a lots of posts requesting Cartoon HD and having Cartoon Network in HD would make my decision to switch to FIOS easier.

One is the regular feed, the 17xx is for the "Spanish Language Package"
