Casting from Fios TV app to chrome cast.

I recently downloaded the Fios TV app and it seems like they limit what you can cast from the App. Only certain channels have the cast Icon once you start watching and if you cast your phone first and open the app to watch you will get only sound and a black screen on the channels that do not have a cast icon. Is there a reason only certain channels are allowed to be cast? Is there a list somewhere that outlines which channels are allowed? So far I can see that ESPN is allowed but almost every other channel isn't. App seems useless if you can't cast and really annoying that you can't atleast filter based are which channels you can cast.

The App Store says Version 2.4 Support for Chromecast is limited live content and on-demand.
