Recently purchased the ActionTec M1424WR router from Verizon, replacing the Westell 9100 EM I have been using for years. Amazon Fire TV worked great until I installed the new router. Fire TV is connected with micro HDMI to TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are you connecting the Fire tv to the router wireless or by ethernet? Have you gone into the Fire tv's settings and reset the network?
DITTO...renewed contract and they upgraded to 50/50. Great for FIOS ON DEMAND but programming thru Amazon FIRE TV keeps buffering and stalling. Amazon tech support told me to check with my ISP! Followed video to reboot box and router but still have trouble with CRACKLE AND HBO.
Do the following:
Shut down everything that is accessing the Internet.
From a device that is hardwired to your router-
go to speedtest.verizon.net (make sure you use this site and not others)
run it.
Verify that you are getting the speed you are paying for.
If not, then contact support and give them the results.
