What is going on with NBC?! I see a scroll saying it will be off of Fios as of 1/1/12??!!

Is 598 WJAR?  They are in negotiations on a retrans agreement and hopefully will come to an agreement before it is dropped from Rhodes Island and surrounding areas. 

Or is this NBC Universal Sports?  UNIVERSAL Sports is currently a LOCAL Channel carried as a Sub-channel in many different area as a free Over the Air channel  They, Universal SPORTS, have to decided to stop doing that and instead are offering it as 1/1 as a premium channel.  So far only DirecTv has decided to pick it up as a Premium channel.
