I understand this list is what is being added by package but I have Fios TV plan Preferred TV HD and have no idea what the packages in your post are.  Can you enlighten me.

These are other packages.

Most of the them (Custom) are smaller packages that target specific type of channels.

So for example if you don't like sports, you can subscribe to a custom package that doesn't have sports.

As stated earlier, these are not new channels. Just new to these packages. Ultimate already has these.

This message went out on 02/02/2018. So as of 2018 they are assigning channels to a custom package? Then it's not custom. Are these packages like 2015 still available?

I can't imagne a package that didn't have TBS & CNN they are cable originals.

They are as custom as the content providers will allow.

None will allow true a la carte programming choices.

So the best a cable company can do is provide groups of channels.

Don't like sports, then you can choose a package without sports.

There are some limits.

No channel additions for the Ultimate TV Package? More channels have been removed in the Ultimate TV package than been added!
