Closed captioning very weird problem

On my closed captioning (cc1) the top line is always blurry but the bottom line is just fine. When there is just one line of text it's blurry like the top line would be. Seems to me it's a weird problem that I've never heard of before. Any idea what I should do here? I don't have a DVR just an HD receiver. It happened on my old tube tv also.image

I get the same issue. The captioning just totally sucks. U have to play around the caption options to get rid of this. I beleieve i use mono no serif option.

Captioning in general is horrible.

Not sure what settings are available to older HD STBs.

What options do you have udner Menu Settings Accessibility Closed Caption?

I have Quantum and with everything set to auto, it looks fine to me.
