The color change for the Guide is REALLY BAD!  It's impossible to read.  Do you have to have HD to see it?  I even changed my furniture so my TV would be closer, and it's still really hard to see.  Please CHANGE IT BACK!

Try this change if your graphics are not set to SD.

It is easier for us to help if we know what type of Set Top Box you have. Also the type of TV. This information will allow people to provide better suggestions.

Menu / Settings / Video Settings / Graphic Settings / Change it from HD to SD.

I totally agree with you...this BRIGHT BLUE is very hard on ky eyes..especially since I am diabetic. It appears Verizon didn't take into account that the color may be too bright. I can't even look at the guide early when I wake up or at night with the lights off. I rethinking of switching to Comcast..at least they give you a choice of colors to pick from...they don't just FORCE A BRIGHT COLOR down your throat...and switching from HD to SD does NOT help.

My recommendation was strictly based on the question if you needed an HD tV to see it. Now if you just don't like the color scheme, well that may be a different case.

flowerblossom --- your TV needs to be an HD flatscreen, not an analog.  That's probably your issue because I had exactly the same problem with reading mine.
