Can anyone confirm that Comcast Sportsnet is the exact same channel as Comcast offers currently. Big Phillies fans and want to make sure we will still get to see the games before we move to Verizon Fios, also big Eagles fans and always watch Monday night discussion after the games. Still a Comcast customer, but changing to Verizon net week.
I can confirm being a Philly phan myself. You will get EVERY game as you would with comcast. 576 is the Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia HD channel, Same as comcast...76 Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia for SD.
EDIT: I need to edit this post because it is obviously false...since the flyers/76ers are in playoffs they will push the philles games over to CN8 which is a channel only provided by comcast.
Charles,
Well, now we are worried because we are missing games that Comcast is moving to CNP. There must be a lot of angry Verizon customers in the Philadelphia area who can't watch their Phils. I'm actually angry at Comcast for not releasing that channel to Verizon. Is there any solution to this?
Well as I said, out of all of the professional sports (eagles, flyers, phillies etc), roughly 10 or so games between them all are on CN8. Yeh, I wish there was a solution for this, like vz getting comcast to "share", but I don't know if that will ever happen...unless vz was to all of a sudden get all the broadcasting rights to the sports teams in our city of brotherly love...but I don't think that's going to happen.
