Comcast Sportsnet PLUS (CSN+) IN HD - Fredericksburg, VA

When will channel 575, CSN+ (HD) be available in my area?

It's ridiculous that a Washington, DC Sports Channel can be found in HD in Richmond, VA, but not farther north in Fredericksburg.

You play Caps/Wizards games that are on CSN+ on channel 501, which says it is HD, but it certainly is not.  The picture is terrible.

Please get this right.

It sounds like your CSN+ in HD addition would be a perfect candidate for the Verizon Idea Exchange. Please search on the idea exchange and cast your vote. The channel listings at csnwashington.com lists the HD channel for your area (and all the places that have FiOS1) as channel 501. It looks like you will not see CSN+ HD appear on channel 575 like it did here, but the games are supposed to be shown in HD on channel 501. FiOS1 HD is produced by an outside vendor, and apparently that vendor is having issues at the moment with the HD feed. That's my best guess anyway.

You're probably asking why all these games are split between FiOS1 and regular channels depending on where you live. I was asking that same question last summer when you got MASN2 HD and I didn't, but as you know, Verizon never gives answers. They only string you along and say "it is coming". They don't even go as far as saying "soon".

By the way, the areas without FiOS1 did get CSN+ HD, but we're still waiting on MASN2 HD and hoping that it will appear in the next couple weeks. At least we don't have to depend in FiOS1 as a middleman for showing these games.
