I am attempting to connect a TV (with no working HDMI) to my new IPC1100 setop box using component (RGB) cable. I get sound but no video. The box works with another TV using HDMI, so I know the box is Ok - how do I enable component video on this box?
Maybe its a problem with the TV.
Do you have another device to test the component input?
Or another TV you can test the box on with component?
I have done both. TV is fine with another component source, and another TV doesn't work with component output from the Fios box.
You are talking to peers here.
Nothing needs to be enabled, it should work. However just because HDMI doesn't mean the component works. Could be a bad unit. Obviously try testing with other TV's, etc if you can.
If still doesn't work you will need to contact Verizon.
