Connected Extender, No TV Signal

Using the splitter and coax cables that came with the E3200 extender, I connected the extender to the FIOS coax outlet in my living room. I connected the coax from the set top box to the other Out connection in the splitter. I’m not getting a signal to the tv. All connections are tight. 

Can anyone please advise?

Are you saying you don't have Linear TV signal on the coax? Can you check whether the coax line is connected to your ONT?

Turned out to be (I think) a loose connection to the set top box.
