DCT-700 error 8701-1842

We have five TV's, two digital and three CRTs. No issues with the digital TVs. One CRT connected to a QIP2500 is working properly. Yesterday both CRTs stopped receiving channels from the DCT-700 STBs. TVs are on channel 4, STBs turn on, TV shows error message 8701-1842, channel not available, for all channels.

I'm in a cast and cannot run upstairs to keep checking these two TV's, parents are elderly and impatient. I've reset the router and had them reset the STBs (unplug for a minute). Wiring hasn't changed, so that isn't it either.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with the same code on one of my TVs. I called the 1-866 # and the automated Rep rebooted my system. My other TV shut off during the reboot like it should have but the one I wa calling about never shut down and I still have the same error code of 8701-1842. I called and spoke with a live Rep and still unable to fix it. Please help!
