I have had this problem since February 2015, five boxes and six techs later we still can't seem to resolve this issue. I have read all prior posts on this issue and none have worked for me.

Motorola 7232 box (black DVR)
Everything replaced - outside box on side of my house, coax cable run, HDMI cables, tried component cables... Same issue, changed power cord, plug in to different power receptacle etc., moved box to other location in bedroom and it does same thing in that room too.
My system worked fine for five years. Now... It's a giant paperweight. Ideas? Help.
There have been suggestions that turning off DVR chaptering can help.
Give that a try.
