DVR conflict when only recording 4 shows

I'm honestly just sick of this. If I'm watching tv and 4 other shows are being recorded, it gives me a dvr conflict notice and changes the channel on the one tv I'm watching. The only way I can get it to stop doing this is to go around to the other 2 unwatched tvs and turn them to the same channel I'm currently watching. It absolutely infuriating. Why won't it change the channels on the unwatched tvs???!!

Is the one you are watching from the DVR?

How can it know who is actually watching or not?

Instead of tuning the others to the same channel, just turn them off.

Can also set them to auto shut off due to inactivity.

Either option frees up tuner.
