It's been a nightmare for us for quite some time that the DVRs we have, they keep rebooting by themselves. We exchanged for the new one. They VERIZON sent us is an old, scruffy, very dusty box, which behavior is no different than the old one. We are about to give up on the services of VERIZON Fios.
What's your insight/ solution? Thanks!
What model DVR?
I have heard that with the 72XX models, if you turn off the chaptering, that it may help.
The DVR is Motorola QIP 7232 2
Why do I have to turn off anything?! I paid for a full service, why compromise to get this full service?
Why Verizon cannot come up with an acceptable solution? There are lots of members that complain about that problem. Verizon keep exchanging the DVRs boxes (it probably cost lots of money to send and return boxes each time. Probably less than hiring a more competent programmers to fix this).
