Not sure if anyone has this issue, but when I surf through the channels (not using the guide), often times the channels change range slowly, or the label for the current channel will appear, but the picture will be the prior channel.
anyone else having these annoying issues?
ever since I "upgraded" from the HD box to the DVR, I have had a lot of problems - including VOD slowness, picture drop-outs, etc....
is there a quick way to reset my box?
I do not have any gripes about the speed of channel surfing using the rocker, although I concede that it is a bit slower than previous STB's I've used. However, I have had times when a channel would not change yet the info banner near the bottom indicates the changed channel info. Switching back usually rectifies the problem. I've commented elsewhere on this forum about other issues, like inability to pause/rewind/step live TV. You will no doubt encounter these anomalies eventually, as it seems to be a consistent bug. A channel change with the rocker switch and back usually resolves them. I consider them irksome, but compared to other possible bugs, altogether minor. Thank you.
The 1.7 firmware update should have fixed the problem where the guide changes the but the channel doesn't.
