Downloading My Movies/Shows from "My Library"

I'd like to cancel my Verizon Service as I can save $100 per month switching to Comcast (unfortunate, as I've been a loyal Verizon Customer for over 5 years). I own movies and shows in My Library. Before I cancel, 

(1) How can I download my movies / shows from My Library? If not download, can I upload them to a cloud service for access after canceling?

(2) How long after cancelling my Verizon Service do I have access to the movies and shows in My Library?
