According to various news outlets, ESPN's "Goal Line" product will soon be offered on FIOS - except for those of us who live in the DC or Harrisburg, PA areas!?! Haven't seen any explanation for our exclusion other than a vague comment about "local agreements", can anybody provide a better explanation?
Thanks.
Whenever there's some arbitrary restriction like this, you can bet it's because of some content rights issues. It's not like Verizon wants to exclude DC residents from Goal Line.
Okay, I didn't really think this was an arbitrary exclusion by Verizon. But only two areas in the entire country have this "problem"? That falls somewhere between very strange and hard-to-believe.
Agreed and I imagine the Washington, DC metro area is one of FiOS's largest markets.
