Extend DVR record time from website or mobile app

Is it possible to extend the DVR recording end time of a scheduled show from the verizon website or mobile app?  I cannot figure out how to do it and I cannot figure out why this capability would not exist.

What you want doesnt appear to be an option. a work around would be to record the show that comes on after.

Of course that is a work around.  I am just surprised that the simple functionality doesn't exist.  I thought maybe it was just difficult to find in their crappy user interface, like a number of other things.

How is this not a feature? It's a very simple requirement that time warner supports

That this option doesn't exist is *maddening* to me. I'm constantly having to schedule the program afterward just to make sure that I get a complete recording of the show I'm trying to record. Pretty ridiculous, imo.

Is there a 2018 update to this? I cannot extend recording time for a live event on my mobile app.
