I have an existing subscription to Extra Innings Package but can't seem to watch any spring training games on MLB.TV. Is it inactive until regular season starts or until subscription renews on March 1st? Am I missing something?

Extra Innings is only active during the regular season, they don't broadcast spring training games. Now MLB.tv premium streaming service through MLB.com does carry pre-season games. You may confusing the two, they are not the same.
